What is the standard at ABC?
There is casual dress, class dress, and Sunday dress. Casual dress for the guys and girls involves recreational clothes when involved in recreational activity, jeans, t-shirts, capris, gym shoes or sandals. Class dress involves blouses and collared shirts, skirts or dresses, but no pants, flip-flops, sandals, or shirts or shirts with writing on them. Nice dress shoes are to be worn. Polos, khakis or dress shirts and dress pants with a belt and regular socks are for guys. Sunday dress is a step up from this, both for guys and girls. This has been the standard for this year and in years past, skirts were to be worn all the time to class. Pants are allowed later in the day every day for dinner and during the weekends as well.
What does the Bible have to say about the standard of dress?
2 Corinthians 5 points out that being in Christ, the old things have passed away. The believer has new desires. Our home is not here on earth, it is in heaven. Here, the earthly dwelling will be torn down; in heaven, there is an eternal building made without hands, from God.
Conclusion: As a believer, heaven is our home ultimately, and the standards of dress in this age will pass away. What is required right now is that we be pleasing to the Lord in everything we do. That includes the way we dress.
Disclaimer: The official dress code was not consulted in describing it in this, but could be found in the Servant's Staff of ABC. Are there any changes to be made regarding the accuracy of the dress code for the point to be made? My home is in heaven, not in dressing to the latest fashion.

Apologetics Class - Exam 1
Today in Apologetics class, 146 students sat down to take the first exam. Mr. Chesley had prepared us well enough to the point that we were fairly confident sitting down and filling out the scantron as we looked over each question. By the way, most students thought it went pretty well!
